ACBL elects to specify otherwise. The provisions of this Law do not apply for ACBL (Zone 2) sanctioned contests.

Law 16A1: |
At ACBL sanctioned events, competitors will not be
allowed to announce that they reserve the right to summon the Director
later. They should summon the Director immediately when they believe
there may have been extraneous information available to the opponents
resulting in calls or bids which could result in damage to their side.

Law 18F: |
The ACBL Board of Directors authorizes sponsoring organizations in Zone 2 to use bidding boxes. Any alternative method which is necessary to enable a person with a disability to compete is authorized subject to the approval of the Chief Director.

Law 40D: |
One notrump openings with fewer than eight high-card points are barred in all ACBL sanctioned events. An opening one bid in a suit which by partnership agreement could show fewer than eight high-card points is not allowed. This does not apply to an opening bid intended as a psych.
